The upper grip consists of a self-aligning wheel that has nine equally spaced slots of different sizes to accommodate a range of terminal shanks. The lower grip secures the wire on one end and is eccentrically mounted and self-tightening. The set has a maximum capacity of 100 lb. (50 kg.). It can accommodate terminal shanks in the following sizes: 0.8 mm (0.0"), 1.2 mm (0.05"), 1.6 mm (0.06"), 1.9 mm (0.08"), 2.6 mm (0.10"), 3.2 mm (0.13"), 4.0 mm (0.16"), 5.0 mm (0.20"), and 6.5 mm (0.26"). The grips have an M6 thread for mounting on a test stand.
